Tavel Prima 2020 - L'Anglore

This Tavel Prima 2020 is a red wine from the Rhône Valley produced by L’Anglore, Éric Pfifferling’s estate based in Tavel. This cuvée is a blend of Grenache and Cinsault, vinified as whole bunches using a natural approach that prioritises spontaneous fermentation and the expression of the fruit. The Tavel Prima 2020 has a very fruity profile, with aromas of strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant accompanied by floral and spicy notes. On the palate, this Tavel red wine is fresh, supple and juicy, with a light body yet structured by fine tannins and lovely acidity. The finish prolongs the notes of red berries with a hint of pepper and salt. This cuvée from L’Anglore exemplifies the estate’s style, with wines that are minimally intervened, easy to drink and focused on freshness. Served slightly chilled, at around 12 to 14 °C, this Tavel Prima 2020 will pair perfectly with roast poultry, grilled meats, Mediterranean cuisine, rabbit with olives or lightly spiced dishes.
