La Lumière 2023 - Glandien

This Vin de France La Lumière 2023 is a Burgundy red wine produced by Maison Glandien from Pinot Noir grapes grown on selected plots with clay-limestone and marl-limestone soils. The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully sorted; the winemaking process then focuses on gentle extraction and spontaneous fermentation using indigenous yeasts to preserve the fruit and freshness of the grape variety. Matured mainly in vats and old barrels, this 2023 Pinot Noir boasts a luminous ruby colour and a nose characterised by fresh cherry, redcurrant, flowers and spices. On the palate, La Lumière 2023 is supple, juicy and fresh, with crisp tannins, lovely acidity and a clean, slightly salty finish. This red Vin de France thus showcases a particularly fruity and approachable expression of Burgundian Pinot Noir, without seeking power. Served at around 16 °C, it will pair perfectly with eggs in meurette sauce, a roast veal fillet, poultry or a matured sheep’s milk cheese, and will appeal to lovers of Burgundian Pinot Noir and Glandien’s terroir-driven red wines.
