Vin de France Pinot Noir 2023 - Prieuré-Roch

This 2023 Vin de France Pinot Noir is a Burgundy red wine produced by Domaine Prieuré-Roch from Pinot Noir grapes, in the natural, minimally interventionist style that characterises the estate. This vintage comes in particular from a plot in Ladoix, whose grapes were deliberately downgraded to Vin de France status, thereby allowing the Burgundian Pinot Noir to fully express its fruit. The winemaking process favours hand-picking and whole bunches, with spontaneous fermentation and no added sulphites, in order to preserve the freshness and direct expression of the grapes. On the nose, this 2023 Prieuré-Roch Pinot Noir reveals aromas of fresh red fruits, raspberry and wild strawberry, accompanied by floral and spicy notes. On the palate, it is lively, juicy and dynamic, characterised by lovely freshness and supple tannins that lead into a delicately spicy finish.
