Bourgogne Aligoté En Coulezain 2022 - Les Horées

This 2022 Bourgogne Aligoté En Coulezain is a Burgundy white wine produced by Les Horées from Aligoté grapes, sourced from a small 0.37-hectare plot near Volnay and from very old vines near Pommard, in the Côte de Beaune terroirs. Grown using biodynamic methods and harvested by hand, this Bourgogne Aligoté is vinified using a low-intervention approach, with some of the grapes destemmed and macerated on the skins, whilst the rest are pressed as whole bunches, before ageing for six months in oak barrels. The nose reveals aromas of white-fleshed fruit, lemon and citrus, accompanied by notes of white flowers and a hint of minerality. On the palate, this Burgundy white wine offers a concentrated and energetic texture, underpinned by lovely tension and a briny finish that lingers with citrus flavours. Les Horées’ winemaking thus highlights all the freshness and precision of Burgundy Aligoté, resulting in a wine that is lively, structured and perfect for dining. Served at around 10°C, this 2022 Burgundy Aligoté is the perfect accompaniment to seafood, fish, frogs’ legs, fish tartares or goat’s cheese.
