The Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru 2017 from Domaine Prieuré-Roch is a Burgundy red wine from the Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru appellation, in the heart of the Côte de Nuits. Made from 100% Pinot Noir, this Burgundy Grand Cru fully expresses the power, elegance and complexity of the historic Clos de Vougeot terroir. The generous and balanced 2017 vintage reveals a harmonious wine, combining aromatic concentration and structural finesse.

The nose opens with aromas of ripe red and black fruits, such as cherry, blackberry and morello cherry, accompanied by floral notes, violet, cocoa and a subtle touch of oak. On the palate, the wine is distinguished by its full structure, silky tannins, elegant texture and a long, persistent finish, faithful to the distinguished style of Domaine Prieuré-Roch and the typical characteristics of the Clos de Vougeot terroir.

This Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru 2017 is best served at around 16–17°C, after decanting to reveal its full complexity. It is the perfect accompaniment to roast red meats, pigeon, lamb or gourmet dishes served with sauce. With an ageing potential of 15 to 20 years, it will develop tertiary aromas of undergrowth, leather and noble spices.
