This Burgundy red wine, made from Pinot Noir grapes, comes from the prestigious Grand Cru Chapelle-Chambertin vineyard in the heart of the Côte de Nuits. The 2011 vintage, produced by the talented winemaker Cécile Tremblay, reflects all the nobility and depth of this legendary Gevrey-Chambertin terroir.
The 2011 vintage is extremely elegant, offering a complex and refined wine. The nose opens with delicately developed red and black fruits, enhanced by floral notes of peony and violet, as well as spicy and mineral touches. On the palate, the texture is velvety, with perfectly integrated supple tannins and a freshness that brings length and balance.
Served at an ideal temperature of 15 to 16°C, this Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru is the perfect accompaniment to roast game, pigeon with morel mushrooms or mature cheeses with character. Already at perfect maturity today, it still has an ageing potential of 8 to 10 years, allowing you to prolong the pleasure and discover deeper tertiary aromas.
A rare Burgundy Grand Cru, expressing the finesse of Pinot Noir, the strength of the Chapelle-Chambertin terroir and the precise expertise of Cécile Tremblay.
