Roc Solare Extra-Brut from Domaine Dhondt-Grellet is a blanc de blancs champagne from the Côte des Blancs appellation, made from 100% Chardonnay grapes. This Extra-Brut champagne reflects the purity, finesse and elegance characteristic of the terroirs of Cramant and the surrounding villages. The nose opens with aromas of white fruits and citrus fruits, such as pear, apple and lemon, enriched with floral notes, white flowers, toast and a subtle chalky minerality. On the palate, the champagne seduces with its creamy texture, perfect balance between freshness and elegance, fine pressure and a long, salty finish, the signature of the precision of Chardonnay Extra-Brut.
Roc Solare Extra-Brut is best served at around 9–10°C, accompanied by seafood, noble fish, shellfish, pan-fried scallops or refined gourmet appetisers. With an ageing potential of 8 to 12 years, it will develop more complex aromas of brioche, hazelnut and honey.
