The Bonnes Mares Grand Cru 2023 from Domaine Bruno Clair is a Burgundy red wine from one of the most prestigious grand crus in the Côte de Nuits, straddling the communes of Morey-Saint-Denis and Chambolle-Musigny. Made from 100% Pinot Noir, this unique terroir offers a rare combination of depth, power and elegance, which is fully reflected in this 2023 vintage.

The nose reveals intense aromas of ripe black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry), complemented by notes of violet, fine spices and a subtle chalky minerality, reflecting the exceptional soil of the climat. On the palate, the wine reveals a silky texture, firm but elegant tannins, a precise structure and a long, persistent finish, testifying to its remarkable ageing potential.

Served at around 16–17°C, this Bonnes Mares Grand Cru is the ideal accompaniment to matured beef, game in sauce, chicken with mushrooms or mature hard cheeses. Already appealing in its youth, it will gain in complexity and aromatic depth over 15 to 20 years.
