The Weissburgunder Bellen 2022 from the Wasenhaus estate is a German white wine made from the Pinot Blanc (Weissburgunder) grape variety, produced in the Baden region of southern Germany. The Wasenhaus estate, created by Alexander Götze and Christoph Wolber after their careers in the great Burgundy estates, is now renowned for its elegant natural wines, with remarkable aromatic purity and meticulous balance.
The Bellen 2022 cuvée comes from plots exposed to limestone soils, giving the wine a distinct minerality, precise freshness and beautiful tension. The colour is pale and luminous. The nose reveals aromas of crisp pear, citrus zest, white flowers and a very delicate chalky nuance. On the palate, the 2022 Wasenhaus Weissburgunder Bellen stands out for its straightforward elegance, fine texture, controlled acidity and a long, refined saline finish.
Served at around 12°C, this dry white wine from Baden is a wonderful accompaniment to grilled fish, shellfish, subtle vegetable dishes, or simply as an aperitif. It has an ageing potential of 4 to 6 years, with an evolution towards greater complexity and aromatic depth.
A Weissburgunder Wasenhaus 2022 of remarkable precision, minerality, brightness and great digestibility, ideal for lovers of elegant and perfectly balanced white wines.
