Vin des Allobroges Argile 2011 - Domaine des Ardoisières

This red wine from Savoie, produced by Domaine des Ardoisières, comes from the Vin des Allobroges appellation, in the heart of the Alpine hillsides. The 2011 vintage, marked by beautifully ripe grapes, produces a concentrated, balanced red Savoie wine that is faithful to the unique style of Les Ardoisières.

On tasting, the Vin des Allobroges Argile 2011 has a deep ruby colour. The nose reveals aromas of ripe black fruits, morello cherry, spices and a touch of pepper typical of Mondeuse. On the palate, the texture is elegant, the tannins are fine and the mineral freshness characteristic of Savoie terroirs supports a long and harmonious finish.
