Nimalaya 2022 is an exceptional red wine produced by the Cassagne & Vitailles estate, located in the hills of Languedoc. With this Vin de France-classified cuvée, the winemakers have created a free-spirited, expressive and modern wine that highlights the authenticity of the fruit and the aromatic richness of the terroir.

Made from a blend dominated by Syrah, complemented by Grenache and Carignan, the 2022 vintage expresses itself with great aromatic intensity and remarkable freshness, thanks to ideal climatic conditions.

On tasting, Nimalaya 2022 displays a deep garnet colour with purple highlights. The nose reveals intense aromas of ripe black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry), combined with notes of morello cherry, violet, black pepper and garrigue. On the palate, it offers a full-bodied and velvety attack, carried by fine tannins and a beautiful mineral tension that lengthens the finish.

This red Vin de France is the perfect accompaniment to Mediterranean grilled meats, matured rib of beef, mildly spiced lamb curry or mature cheeses.
