En ce début de mois de mai, nous mettons à l’honneur le domaine de La Bergerie de l’Arcade !

📍Fondé en 2015 par les frères Pascal et Gilles Soulas, le Domaine de la Bergerie de l’Arcade s’épanouit à Pouzols, dans l’Hérault, au cœur du Languedoc.

Dès ses débuts, le domaine s’est distingué par son ambition et sa volonté de créer des vins sincères, à l’image du terroir. Inspirés par les conseils de Laurent Vaillé, figure emblématique de la Grange des Pères, les deux frères n’en ont pas moins affirmé leur propre style.
En quelques années seulement, le domaine a su se faire une place parmi les noms à suivre dans la région, porté par une vision singulière et une exigence constante. 🍇

At the beginning of May, we’re putting the spotlight on the Domaine de La Bergerie de l’Arcade!

📍Founded in 2015 by brothers Pascal and Gilles Soulas, Domaine de la Bergerie de l’Arcade flourishes in Pouzols, Hérault, in the heart of the Languedoc region.

From the outset, the estate has distinguished itself by its ambition and desire to create wines that are sincere and reflect the terroir. Inspired by the advice of Laurent Vaillé, an emblematic figure at Grange des Pères, the two brothers have nonetheless asserted their own style.

Cette semaine, c’est un vigneron que nous mettons à l’honneur !

📍Originaire d’Australie, Mark Haisma a choisi de s’installer à Gevrey-Chambertin, au cœur de la Côte de Nuits, en Bourgogne, après avoir travaillé 10 ans au domaine Yarra Yerring.
Sans vignoble en propre, Mark sélectionne soigneusement ses raisins auprès de vignerons partenaires, majoritairement en bio, afin de révéler les grands terroirs bourguignons.

Persuadé que la richesse des vins se trouve dans la structure minérale des terroirs, le vigneron façonne des cuvées de caractère, alliant pureté du fruit et fraîcheur naturelle des raisins. Son travail offre une parfaite alliance entre modernité et respect des traditions bourguignonnes. 🍇

This week, it’s a winemaker we’re honouring !

📍Australian-born Mark Haisma chose to settle in Gevrey-Chambertin, in the heart of the Côte de Nuits in Burgundy, after working for 10 years at Domaine Yarra Yerring.
With no vineyard of his own, Mark carefully selects his grapes from partner winegrowers, mostly organic, to bring out the great terroirs of Burgundy.

Convinced that the richness of wines lies in the mineral structure of the terroirs, the winemaker creates cuvées with character, combining purity of fruit with the natural freshness of the grapes. His work is a perfect blend of modernity and respect for Burgundy traditions. 🍇

Cette semaine, nous vous proposons de partir à la découverte du domaine Jean-Michel Guillon !

📍Fondé en 1980, le domaine portant le nom de son créateur est situé à Gevrey-Chambertin, au cœur de la Côte de Nuits, en Bourgogne. Le domaine s’est étendu au fil des années pour atteindre aujourd’hui 15 hectares répartis sur plus de 20 appellations telles que Gevrey-Chambertin, Morey-Saint-Denis, Clos Vougeot ou encore Fixin.

Le domaine se distingue par une approche rigoureuse et respectueuse de la viticulture, couplée à une vision moderne. La quête constante d’excellence a été reconnue en 2020 lorsque Jean-Michel Guillon a été élu « Vigneron de l’année » par le Guide Hachette des Vins.

Over the years, the estate has grown to encompass 15 hectares spread over more than 20 appellations, including Gevrey-Chambertin, Morey-Saint-Denis, Clos Vougeot and Fixin.

The estate stands out for its rigorous, respectful approach to viticulture, coupled with a modern vision. The constant quest for excellence was recognised in 2020 when Jean-Michel Guillon was voted « Winemaker of the Year » by the Guide Hachette des Vins.

Âgé d’en moyenne 35 ans, le vignoble de 16 hectares bénéficie d’une approche globale avec des pratiques responsables. Grâce à son travail, la Closerie Saint Roc possède les certifications Ecocert et Demeter ce qui reflète son engagement envers la viticulture durable et respectueuse de l’environnement.

Après avoir été transmis sur 6 générations, dont celle de Michel Noëllat qui donna son nom au domaine, ce sont aujourd’hui Sébastien et Sophie Noëllat qui perpétuent l’héritage familial.

Le domaine allie tradition et modernité, dans le respect du terroir de ses 23 appellations. Vous pourrez retrouver parmi elles, les appellations Vosne-Romanée, Gevrey-Chambertin, Chambolle-Musigny ou encore Nuits-Saint-Georges.

Having been passed down through 6 generations, including that of Michel Noëllat who gave his name to the estate, it is now Sébastien and Sophie Noëllat who carry on the family legacy.

The estate combines tradition and modernity, respecting the terroir of its 23 appellations. These include Vosne-Romanée, Gevrey-Chambertin, Chambolle-Musigny and Nuits-Saint-Georges.
